Safety is an important part of Base Industries culture and we’re committed to ensuring that we not only keep our own employees safe, but those of our clients as well. Considering this safety-first philosophy, we’ve developed an industry-first Scaffold Compliance Awareness and Safety Program.
Topics covered include the current state of scaffold safety, scaffold applications, types and designs, developing scope and design of scaffold, planning installation and safe use, support surfaces, safe work practices, scaffolded handover, inspections and maintenance; adjustments, identifying and addressing non-complaint scaffolds and dismantle and removal of scaffolds.
Attendees are also provided with a USB containing a scaffold management plan, reference videos of how to safely erect a scaffold in one metre lifts and a damaged scaffold component manual.
Typically, a session will last three hours and cater for 15-20 people however the company can cater a program to suite specific applications or to target issues a that a client might want to overcome. Base Industries can even hold the training at the client’s job site.
