BASE Industries were engaged to provide engineering and project management support on cogeneration plant using biomass fuels. The detailed scope included a HAZOP and engineering review post-commissioning failure. The power plant when completed will produce 24 megawatts of electricity – enough to power 26,280 homes utilising 100 percent renewable energy converting sugarcane fibre known as bagasse, into green energy.
