The Cranebourne Line Upgrade Project.

This project will pave the way for trains every ten minutes on the Cranbourne Line which will provide more frequent and reliable services for South East Melbourne.
The current line is being fully duplicated with a duel rail bridge being built to raise the line over the road which will then allow for the removal of the remaining for level crossings. This will make the Cranbourne line the first in Melbourne to be level crossing-free.

SAFETY INITIATIVES

BASE Industries has taken the lead to improve the education of safe scaffold practices. In conjunction with our customers and using our experience with industry safety leaders we developed and executed a training program on site for all key stake holders within the level crossing removal alliances to attend in order to further their education surrounding scaffold compliance and safety.
